Hi Guys
Having played the awesome AGMA, I've come up with a couple of changes to the base troop construction rules.
Light Troops Cost : 2 Max BP : 4 Mv : 3 Tp : 4 (+1 vs Vehicles and Mechs) Sv : 5 (medium weapons get +1 damage / heavy weapons +2 damage)
Heavy Troops Cost : 5 Max BP : 7 Mv : 3 Tp : 4 Sv : 15 (medium weapons get +1 damage / heavy weapons +2 damage) Equipment 1 light MG / May purchase a second light or medium weapon Notes Jump Packs cost double
Extras :
Jump Packs : Cost +1 BP (+2 BP for Heavy Troops). Increase Mv by +1 / allow movement over impassable terrain (may not end turn on it) / all movement costs 1 (ignore terrain movement mods).
My mate and I weren't happy about troops being so easy to hit, so we altered the rules for all Troops to include the +1 Sv vs Vehicles and Mechs rule. Secondly, I added Heavy Troops and lastly, Jump Packs.
I've also modded Vehicle and Mech design (including Ultra Heavy mechs for the Uber Players out there) but thought I'd check on the response to these before daring to record such heretical thoughts on the forum.
Let me know what you guys think : )

Feel free to post any house rules you come up with. I enjoy see things from someone else's perspective.
The troops included in Mech Attack (Light, Heavy, Jump) are based on a basic framework that is similar to the direction you're going. As the focus of the game is on Mechs, the troop construction rules weren't expanded on in the first version of the game. The framework isn't too hard to "reverse engineer" looking at the included examples though.
Troops - LOL, they're supposed to be easy to hit... especially if they're caught out in the open. I wanted to encourage the idea of troops moving from cover to cover. Who wants to stay out in the open with big stompy war machines walking around...(GriN)
