ohh ok, then the new units would be like this:
Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 4 Bp Max Bp – 5 Bp Mv – 5 Tp – 4 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc)
Hover Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 5 Bp Max Bp – 6 Bp Mv – 6 Tp – 5 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc) Mounted Hover Upgrade(+1Mv, +1Tp, Ignore Rough/Water Terrain)
I thought that the mounted upgrade included the +5sv thats why they were 1 pt cheaper.
I saw in another thread that you were working on version 2 of the rules so now i'm curious how it is progressing?
and trowing in an other infantry idea:
ExoSuit Heavy Infantry Cost - 4 Bp Max Bp – 6 Bp Mv – 3 Tp – 3 Sv – 15 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons * 2

You're right... I saw your Sv of 10 and didn't realize that 5 of that came from the Mounted trait. What you have below is right.
Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 4 Bp Mv – 5 Tp – 4 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc)
Hover Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 5 Bp Mv – 6 Tp – 5 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc) Mounted Hover Upgrade(+1Mv, +1Tp, Ignore Rough/Water Terrain
In 2.0 all troop units will have the same Max Bp... probably 6. Keep in mind that a troop's crew served weapon is equal to the cost of the weapon itself... so if they want a Light Cannon as their crew served weapon then that would cost 2Bp.

What is the projected "eta" for the 2.0 rule set?

What is the projected "eta" for the 2.0 rule set? That's the magic question. I got promoted and that came with a lot of extra work... and now I'm being reassigned to another location so I'm in the middle of a move. That being said, the rules themselves are mostly done... then it's a bunch of formatting and such. We'll know more once I get settled in my new assignment...

I was doing some poking around for inspiration on military motocycles and I found this prototype from 1937: I'm not planning on using it in my mounted infantry designs, but thought that it was way too cool not to share! Just imagine that ride!

The image seems broken...at least to me. To bad, really wanted to see the ride But 100% awesome that you are thinking about mounted infantry!!

I've seen the mono track design on a mini for the new bauhaus in mutant chonicles. Question: How do you turn a mono track??

You're right... I saw your Sv of 10 and didn't realize that 5 of that came from the Mounted trait. What you have below is right. Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 4 Bp Mv – 5 Tp – 4 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc) Hover Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 5 Bp Mv – 6 Tp – 5 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc) Mounted Hover Upgrade(+1Mv, +1Tp, Ignore Rough/Water Terrain In 2.0 all troop units will have the same Max Bp... probably 6. Keep in mind that a troop's crew served weapon is equal to the cost of the weapon itself... so if they want a Light Cannon as their crew served weapon then that would cost 2Bp. As I've been working on the miniatures, I've been thinking about rules for a Tracked Cycle Class. The basic change to the Bike Mounted Infantry would be that the tracks grant more off road maneuverability at the cost of a little speed. It would probably be an upgrade for specific battlefields where rough terrain is common. I thought about adding +5Sv for another Bp, but a total of 15 Sv seemed excessive. Tracked Cycle Mounted Infantry Cost - 4 Bp Mv – 5 Tp – 4 Sv – 10 Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc) Tracks (-1Mv, Ignore Rough Terrain) What do you think?

There has to be a compelling reason to choose a tracked bike over another, as dictated by different situations. I don't see a situation where I would take this tracked bike over a hover bike; both ignore rough terrain but the hover is faster so the tracked bike needs something to 1-up the hover bike based on the situation you're planning for. Maybe something like this: Tracked Bike Mounted Infantry Cost - 5 Bp (Standard bikes are 4, there has to be a +1 Bp cost for the tracked upgrade) Mv – 3 (Standard bikes are 4, the -1 for being tracked helps balance the 15 Sv and is reflected here) Tp – 4 Sv – 15 (This is the 1-up over the other bikes; tracks are tougher than tires and less fragile than hover drives) Equipment: 1 Crew Served Weapon Individual Weapons Mounted(+2Mv, +5Sv, 180 Degree Firing Arc) Mounted Track Upgrade(-1Mv, +5Sv, Ignore Rough Terrain) - It's slower than tires or hovers drives, but it's tougher.

That plan makes sense. I was hesitant to have the Sv at 15, but it makes sense to have it be more rugged.

A lot of very cool stuff, here! I like the direction the troops rules are taking. I think it will be essential to have the build guide and breakdowns as above to make the process transparent enough to allow for some really off the wall stuff (or even more mundane, like artillery troops. low Sv and light or medium weapons--perhahps even as far as a heavy cannon. All within the 6BP limit, of course.)
