So you only have to know what your unit did for movement this activation... which is easy because it just happened, not several minutes ago... Yup. Very nice game mechanics. To much record keeping really can kill a game imo.

Equipping troops.
Ok, maybe I am an idiot... (so let's not rule that out), but am I missing something?
It says that troops basically get 2 Bv worth of equipment or weapons, BUT they can only carry Light Weapons... none of which have over 1 Bv (unless I am missing something).
Does this also include their personal weapons (their machineguns?) That would make sense, but why not just include their hand-held weapons in their point cost and say they can simply carry one light weapon for one point more?

Check out Appendix III in the rules: the Light Cannon, Twin-linked MGs, and Twin-Linked Lasers are 2 Bp. This way, the troops can choose those weapons as well.

Pretty sure I know this answer, but I'll ask it anyway.
Equipping a vehicle with a Static Mounted weapon gives you 2 weapons (say, Missiles) but you're restricted to firing in your front arc--unless, you have another unit with a successful lock-on with their RGMS . . .
With the RGMS, you basically ignore the Static Mount limitation if Missiles are equipped, correct?

I will defer to Dagger if I'm wrong about this, but the way I play it is: the unit with RGMS must have the target in it's firing arc (and LOS), but the friendly unit firing the missile does not have to have the target in it's firing arc or LOS. Make sense?

So basically, your RGMS only benefits missiles fired by your teammates and does not help your own missiles. You can't fire missiles from your front arc and have them target a unit in your rear arc because you have a RGMS in your rear arc. However, you CAN fire missiles from your front arc and have them target a unit in your rear arc if a teammate has the target locked with their RGMS.

That makes for fun when you can get a fast unit up close to shoot with lasers and paint with the RGMS and then have a battery of missile boats on a ridge in the backfield to dump down the hurt. Also makes for some importance in your order of play.

Exactly, and I especially like how it breaks up the usual tactic of "target the large mechs first"... go ahead, ignore the little guy with the RGMS and see what happens.

Where can I find the rules for aircraft, drones and bikes, and are there any plans for a RPG for Mech Assault? Are there any plans for boats and ships rules and minis?
