What are the turret Max Bp values?
Page 7 gives an example Armored Scout with 1 Light, and a Heavy Tank with 1 Medium. Page 11 says a vehicle may equip a maximum of 2 weapons/equipment in a turret. A vehicle is also limited to 2 turret mounted weapons/equipment and/or cargo capcity TOTAL. So far, so good.
The Bp values for the example vehicles come out right, building up from the skeletons.
My question is, how do I determine the max Bp I can put in a vehicle turret. Could I place 6 Bp of weapons/equipment in the turret of a heavy tank if I added nothing else to the skeleton? I realize this vehicle would have no armor, but potentially 2 medium twin-linked laser systems for example.
Other than a turret capacity of 2 systems, a maximum combined cargo and weapons/equipment capacity of 2 systems, Light systems on Transports and Scouts, and Medium or Light systems on Heavy Tanks, 2 engine upgrades, and the Max Bp value, are there any restrictions on how I allocate Bp?
Could I theoretically put all the Bp into armor? Or all into weapons/equipment?
Is a troop transport required to have at least 1 cargo capacity?
Can mount a turret weapon on a Troop Transport, or put Troop Cargo space in a Heavy Tank?

I just heard back from Dagger about your questions. This is what he had to say:
There is a one-word typo in the rules. The word TURRET on page 7 needs to be changed to VEHICLE: From this: Vehicles with turrets may mount a piece of hardware (weapon or other equipment) that has the same or lower rating as the Vehicle. You may outfit your turret with any appropriately sized weapon or support equipment, but you may not exceed the Max Bp rating of your TURRET. For the Bp costs of all weapons and support equipment see the Weapons and Equipment Table on page 12. To this: Vehicles with turrets may mount a piece of hardware (weapon or other equipment) that has the same or lower rating as the Vehicle. You may outfit your turret with any appropriately sized weapon or support equipment, but you may not exceed the Max Bp rating of your VEHICLE. For the Bp costs of all weapons and support equipment see the Weapons and Equipment Table on page 12. Basically a turret comes with the weapon you choose to buy. So there is only one weapon per turret. You may mount two weapons on a vehicle, so you end up with two turrets. The important restriction is that only Heavy Vehicle skeletons can mount Medium weapons/equipment... all others can only mount Light weapons/equipment. The Vehicle skeleton names on page 11 are a little misleading too... they really should be: Light Vehicle Max Bp x Mv x Tp x Medium Vehicle Max Bp x Mv x Tp x Heavy Vehicle Max Bp x Mv x Tp x "Troop Transport", "Armored Scout", and "Heavy Tank" are just names of the example builds used in the basic game. If you custom build a vehicle, you can call it whatever you think fits its purpose. You can spend all of your Bp on weapons or armor... so you could have a Heavy Vehicle (Max Bp 6) running around with two Medium Twin-Linked Lasers (6 Bp Total) and no armor... it wouldn't be around long though...(grin)

Don't think I'm punching holes in the game because it is a bad design. I'm testing the limits so there are less loopholes to exploit when the rules-lawyers and min-maxers get hold of it.
I think it's a great little game, and i want to see more...

I'm really glad you are liking the rules so far. My goal was to keep them as simple and as fast as possible while retaining a high degree of strategy. We'll be looking for playtesters for upcoming expansions so be sure to check back often.
