How many targets can a unit attack in a round?
We played each unit gets 1 target because page 3 says, "a target" several times and the plural, "targets" is never used. What is the official ruling?
I like the above for mechs, but infantry is a group of people, can't some shoot the MG at another infantry unit while shooting the missile at the APC they just came out of? A vehicle will probably have a multi-person crew so can't they pick 2 targets as well?
Troops are excluded from ramming. What happens if a mech or vehicle runs into (over) them?
I was hoping for an official ruling before I made some "stomping" house rules ;D
In a past life I was an M1 Armor Crewman and we referred to infantry as "crunchies".

I was hoping for an official ruling before I made some "stomping" house rules ;D In a past life I was an M1 Armor Crewman and we referred to infantry as "crunchies". Mech and Vehicle Targets - A mech or vehicle chooses a target each time it "declares" it is firing a weapon. So you may choose a new target for each weapon. The reasoning is that they have targeting computers which allow tracking multiple targets. Infantry Targets - Infantry are trained to "mass fire" when using their individual weapons which damage-wise equates to "Light Machine Gun" damage. However, they may select a new target with their crew-served weapon. So in your scenario... yes, they may mass-fire their individual weapons at an enemy squad then fire a missile with their crew-served weapon at the APC the enemy just came out of. Crunchies - The current version does not allow rolling over crunchies. However, in the 2.0 draft rules there is a new ramming table which does allow smooshing crunchies. Basically, if the ram is successful, it generates a roll on the Troop Damage Table based on the weight of the ramming unit (Light=(+0), Medium=(+1), Heavy=(+2)). If the ram is not successful, then the crunchies managed to scurry out of the way. Feel free to implement that as a house rule and let me know how you like it.
