So, what other games (besides Mech Attack) do you play?
Giant Monster Rampage (giant monster fighting game, duh. ;D) 5150: Star Army (scifi minis game) Incursion (Weird WWII boardgame w/ minis) Castle Panic (boardgame that I got this for Christmas; my son & I have a blast with it) World At War series (WWIII platoon level boardgame set in ~1985) All Things Zombie (boardgame & mini game) Guncrawl (Scifi dungeon crawl game)
There are others, but the above list is good for a start.

Other games? There are other games? I tend to devour a huge variety of games, because I really like delving into the mechanics of the way they are played. Currently I'm into:

Lately, I've been playing Zombicide with the family... we replaced all of the plastic figures with paper flats. The survivors are now Scooby Doo characters...(GriN)

Dagger - just curious, what version of Zombicide do you have (retail or Kickstarter)? I almost went in on the original Zombicide KS, but ultimately decided against it.

I too missed out on the Zombicide Kickstarter. However, I was lucky enough to pick up the base game plus the two expansions (Toxic City Mall and Prison Outbreak) at DragonCon. I haven't even got around to the expansions yet, we're still having fun with the base game. The Kickstarter came with several limited edition survivors that would have been cool... but they did make the character cards for them downloadable... and I believe someone has made paper flats to go with them...

Thanks for the info, Dagger!
I may pick up zombicide & expansions at some point. I wouldn't mind getting it just for the miniatures.

Currently interested in Summoner Wars, D-day dice, getting back into Battletech, some D & D, and going back thru the games that little kids play. I am also a video game player for my grandson, which means I'm playing a bunch of fps's that I would not play with my own kids!

I've seen mention of the game/rules for Battletech a few times and was wandering how the rules were or general gameplay was? Also if I wanted to try it out with Mech Attack minis what rules would I look for?

You roll two 6 sided dice, aiming for a number below your target number. Movement is a certain number of points you pay for movement or facing changes on a hex grid. Most editions are essentially the same, rules wise. Go with what you can find cheapest.
