Great stuff you guys have put together here. Got my hands on it and started printing then decided to make some mods. Here is a scout mech with 2 weapon slots and a camo pattern. I still have the edging to do but ill get that done when I have all 6 printed out and cut. Enjoy Slick

That looks really good! What do you guys use for edging? I've used a sharpie before. Are the better options?

I like to use brush tip markers. They easily fit into corners and tight spaces.

Thanks for the suggestion. Where does one find brush tip markers? Would Michaels carry them?

Michaels or most any arts and craft store will carry them. Ordering them on-line is the cheapest way. I have tried them and I still go back to using my trusty sharpies ;D. To each there own. I always stress trying out new things because if you never do you will never know what is best for you.

That's an awesome re-color there Slick... very impressive. Of course, I'm gonna have to ask you to send me those when you get all of them finished...(grin)

Thanks everyone. Dagger I think im going to vector trace the uncolored files into illustrator. This is where I have all my color, pattern and gradient pallates set up. I'm happy with the way they turned out but my photoshop skills are pathetic. When i get the files done I can shoot a copy off to you but its gonna take me a while.

Slick - WaffleM can probably send you the vector images if that would help save you some effort...

OOO that would save me a HUGE amount of time. As well as let me do some slight modifications. In the above figure I just cut off the arm slots so on close inspection you can see that I just sliced though the existing part. If waffleM doesn't mind id love the vectors.

Well I have made some progress. Light mechs and weapons are complete and the medium mechs just need the windows textured. I have the files set up so that I can swap out the camo patterns easily so I hope to get a few different colors done. Below is a light mech that I built up in Sketch up and textured. Slick

That looks great Slick... I bet it's really cool to watch spin around in SketchUp. I can't wait to see the rest of them...
