I've never designed paper minis before, so any and all feedback is welcome. This is just in the concept stage. I still have a few tweaks to make, but I'd like to get some feedback first. (No weapons mounted, yet) Sorry the pics may be a bit blurry. I'd like to thank the guys from Armor Grid for designing an awesome game with some awesome minis. In fact, the front of this VTOL is the front chassis of the light mech!

Cool mods! What program are you using to make them?

BEAUTIFUL!
The only thing that did not appeal me is the mech head... too big compared to the body. I'd go for a front more similar to an actual "Apache".
OR
Just build a bigger flyer, somewhat that can be used for transport also, and then keep the mech head.
Anyway, i like it.

Thanks guys. Believe it or not, I drew the other portions with Paint. I then did the coloring with GIMP.

That's great... I like it...
I only have some faint ideas on how VTOLs will work.. but I'm leaning toward their max level being 6 for game purposes. For the models themselves they will probably be on the smaller side... smaller than vehicles even. They are in the air you see, and I don't want them to take up too much real estate on the ground. Their weapon choices will be very basic, as they are not the focus of the game... Mechs are. I am leaning toward chain guns and rockets though. I want them to be a fun choice, but not game changing. There will be some troop carrying versions too. (hint: Jump Troops can exit without landing).
