Waffle - those bases look great! Nice work! I've never made bases like that. Mine are just plain gray or black with some sand for texture.

I need to make up a better mix of static grass for the desert bases. I have to add a bit more contrast as it all just blends together. Definitely more darker yellows and maybe some greens...

Looks great. The paper minis really come to life on those bases. I have some dark green static grass, but it's pretty plain looking. I've definitley got to find some white or tan to mix in to get the effect you got.
Are those the GF9 econo bases?

Those really are awesome... great blend of paper and traditional miniatures. The HEX Grids in the background are great too
